Features

RG-MUX-8LCI/LC-H 8-Port Transparent Distribution All-Optical Network Passive Device

  • An 8-port transparent distribution device on the building side supports both 10 Gbps and 1 Gbps per port, and can accommodate up to 48 ports when fully loaded. The device integrates WDM technology, which allows for a network architecture reduced from three layers to two layers. With WDM, services from the core side to the access side are transparently transmitted, realizing passive distribution nodes.

Combination of Splitters and Transparent Distribution Devices Achieving Dual Uplinks for All-Optical Links, Improving Link Reliability Between the Core Network and Building

  • The 8-port modular transparent distribution device together with splitters evenly distributes the optical power in a 50:50 ratio to two separate links. This setup allows for dual-uplink networks, effectively enhancing the reliability of the links between the core side and access side.

CWDM Technology with Zero Fiber Splitting, Providing Exclusive Indoor Bandwidth of 10 Gbps/1 Gbps

  • The transparent distribution device enabled with WDM technology allows transparent transmission of services from the core side to the access side, ensuring 1:1 dedicated access to the bandwidth of 10 Gbps. This offering effectively meets high bandwidth requirements of device connections and networking needs of various terminals.

Fully Passive All-Optical Network Devices, Making Passive Distribution Nodes Possible and Solving Challenges of ELV Rooms

  • By replacing active devices with passive ones, such as optical fibers and transparent distribution devices, connections between the core network and the building side can be established without the ELV room and power supply. This significantly simplifies deployment and lowers the failure rate of external devices, without management and maintenance in ELV rooms.

All-Optical Deployment, Easy to Upgrade, and Flexible Extension of Ethernet Networks

  • Bandwidth can be upgraded from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps without need to change the backbone cabling area. Switches of different rates can be replaced or added as needed. Transparent distribution devices are plug-and-play, allowing for easy deployment and rapid capacity expansion.
